Propst Brothers Golf Classic
It’s almost time to tee off for a great cause! The 22nd Annual Propst Brothers Golf Classic is set to take place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Cabarrus Country Club. With last year's tournament raising a record breaking $70,000 to support the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County's programs and families, this year's event is sure to be even more impactful.
The Propst Brothers Golf Classic, generously organized by Allen Craven, has long been a staple event for golf enthusiasts and philanthropists in our community. The tournament serves as a powerful platform for individuals and businesses to come together and make a difference in the lives of local children and families. By simply picking up your clubs, you become a catalyst for positive change, creating a brighter future for the community as a whole.

A Crawl for All
The Afton Foundation is hosting a Crawl for a Cause benefitting our Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County. This spook-tacular event will be held on Saturday, October 26th and will kick off with a Candy Crawl from 2-4pm, and end with a Pub Crawl from 4-8pm. The crawl will be held in Afton Village and $20 secures a wrist band providing drink specials and discounts at participating restaurants, as well as a tote bag with other surprise swag.
The event is sure to get your family in the spooky spirit and raise funds for important programs for our bats and ghouls at the Club.
The 20th Year
& we have a special ask.
It feels like Christmas in July planning for the big 20th Annual Festival of Trees, presented by The Hotel Concord. Help us celebrate and support this magical weekend by marking your calendars for December 6-8. Tickets will go on sale October 1st. The weekend of events will take place at the historic Hotel Concord in downtown.
To make this year’s event extra special and successful, we are specifically seeking a unique band sponsorship for Friday’s Deck the Halls Gala held on December 6. Our avid Festival goers can attest that Friday’s band is one of the many reasons this benefit is successful. InfiniteSoul brings so much life to the festival and sits as the main event of the weekend-long fundraiser.
Sponsoring the band would directly support the Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County and the 1,500 youth we serve. Festival Sponsors will be seen as community champions who invest in the welfare of local families – the true meaning and tradition behind Festival of Trees.
